Buttonholes / Corsages

Traditionally the roles of the corsage and buttonhole were about love.  The buttonhole was placed above the mans heart to show his affection for his bride, by having a matching flower from her bouquet.  The corsage was a token given from the bride to her mother or grandmother showing them her love and compassion for them.

Today the corsage and buttonhole are given to those in the wedding party and to people that have special meaning to both the bride and groom to wear on their wedding  day.
